"Life in Shelter has been so good but as you all know life is not a straight line. You have to undergo problems before you reach your destination.  It is not my wish to be in a home but I know God has great plans for me.  When I came to Shelter I did not have hope for the future.  Now I have great expectations.  I am waiting to go to America; I am being adopted by a family from Chicago.  This is God's plan.  I am still waiting for more from God.  I want to make my life better and help children who find themselves in the same situation in which I have grown up."

"My life in this home has been very cool but sometimes life here becomes very hard and you have to overcome so that you can be able to survive in your future and even to make it in your future.  I have been a good boy and work hard to make sure that I will be someone who can stand on my own.  I have a sponsor in Chicago and now I have hope for my future.  Now because I am somebody who is educated, I know bad and good.  That's all about my life in Shelter and now I have a destiny."

"I love being in Shelter because I have a good mother who takes care of me.  I have freedom of expression.  Whenever I have a problem it is taken seriously.  I love Shelter because I can go to school and make new friends.  I like this place because I can have food everyday and also I have good medical care.  When I am here, I am taught good behaviour and how to deal with all kinds of people."
